Dr. Steven Howard LeBaron passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Seattle, Washington. Steve was born in Phoenix, AZ on May 22, 1942. He attended Tempe schools, served in the New England States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, graduated from Brigham Young University in 1967, and received his doctorate degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in May, 1970. His residency and subsequent practice of 30 plus years in Seattle resulted in his love for the city and the state of Washington and the activities associated with it; Scuba Diving, Triathlons, Biking, Hiking, and Climbing. He climbed Mount Rainier twice, loved climbing The Tooth…doing it 50 times, 25 as a solo climber, and mentored over 14 other climbers. Steve also loved to travel and experienced many far and exotic destinations. Steve is survived by his daughter Lisa Christensen (Jason) and grandchildren Chelsea and Zandr, his sister Vicki Gibbons and nieces and nephews Gerry Anderson (Greg) and their children Casey, Davis, and Gage, Chase Gibbons (Paige) and their children Austin and Logan, John Gibbons (Kristin) and their daughter Kylie, and Courtney Peterson (Jon) and their children Spencer, McKenzie, and Aubrey, along with many close friends. He will be missed and remembered fondly by those who loved him. Steve was smart, athletic, and a very genuine person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. |
