Tracie Nicole Remick March 27, 1975 – February 14, 2019. We are deeply broken hearted to announce Tracie’s passing from her new home in Shoreline, Washington. She will be missed forever, by so many who loved and cared for her. Tracie’s sense of humor, contagious smile, and joy for living was a source of so much of all our happiness. Tracie was an identical twin to Tiffany Michelle Remick, and adored sister to Travis John Remick. She was born at Group Health hospital in Seattle, Washington to parents Larry and Karen Remick. She leaves this world as a beloved Daughter, Sister, Niece and Aunt. And a friend to countless many. She went by a number of nicknames; Tre, (3-point basketball perfectionist), Trac, Tracers, Trac-Track. She was always fun loving, looking for the next adventure, making every day happenings a thing to embrace. We adored her in every way and will miss her more than our words could possibly express. Tracie developed a passion for sports early in her life, and perfected a smooth, accurate three point shot in basketball. She received honors, including First Team, All-Wesco. All through life she loved the simple things. Small creatures, lady bugs, stars, heaven’s wonders, cloud formations. She always noticed and savored the simple things some of us take for granted. She loved spending times out doors, camping, going for a float on a river, or a simple walk. It all brought her bountiful joy and she couldn’t keep still about it. For much of her adult life she worked as an Activities Coordinator in Senior living and retirement facilities. This was her element with older folks, and she made deep and close friendships at each facility that she was blessed to be a part of. Coworkers always made their way into her heart and vice-versa. Passion was Tracie’s approach to life. All who knew her; loved her. She lived life to the full in a care-free, child-like and authentic way, and had a beautiful ability to connect with people quickly and deeply. Tracie had experienced a renewal of her relationship with the living God; Jesus Christ, in January 2018. From that day forward, she lived life without abandon and shared her love and her walk with the God who gave His life on her behalf. She knew God was calling her to share that Great News; and stepped forward with passion. The family is most blessed by this and encourages each person just to “consider” the God who loves them and desperately wants a relationship with each one of us. Tracie is preceded in death by Grandparents Ed & Margie Peterson and Grandparents Tom and Rosie Remick. Tracie is survived by her Mother Karen Remick, Father, Larry and Step-Mother Cindy Remick, sisters Tiffany Remick and Lindsay Remick, brothers Travis (Cris) Remick and Brian (Michaela) Remick and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and a Niece. Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, March 9th at 2:00 pm at First Lutheran of Richmond Beach, 18354 – 8th Ave. NW, Shoreline, WA 98177. A reception to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Residence XII Treatment Center in Kirkland, WA or the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.
