Tess BB McArthur, age 85 passed away of natural causes Saturday December 9th, 2017 in Seattle WA with her daughter and grandson at her side.

Tess was born in Miles City, MT to Henry J Stokes and Barbara T (Baumann) Stokes on August 24th, 1932, she was the oldest of three children.

Tess married Thomas G McArthur in 1950 and they had three daughters and two sons, Michael, Monica, Deanna, Bonnie and Scott. She was devoted to her family and loved all of her children dearly.

Tess spent most of her life in the Seattle area, although she loved her girlhood spent in Columbia Falls, MT with her cousins and her brothers. She enjoyed music most of all, having been offered a scholarship to Cornish School of Arts at the age of twelve for voice and piano. Reading, and traveling were some of her favorite activities.

She is survived by one daughter and two grandchildren.
