I had the honor and privilege of getting to know Ryan after I graduated from the Salvation Army ARC women’s program. We immediately began going to meetings and excursions together and I grew to love how fun, loving nature and kind heart. I often saw Ryan greeting at ChurchHome and we would also do Street Level Outreach together and other Salvation Army social events. I got to watch him really bloom as a human being and I always told him how proud impressed I was with all he does for others. He was always showing up for anyone who needed help or a hospital visit and was steadfast with staying connected with his brothers and sisters in the program. He was constantly sharing photos of his children and was a very proud papa when it came to talking about their accomplishments. He was a blessing to this world and I will desperately miss his sense of humor, his smile, those bright blue eyes filled with love and his double-handed two finger pose that he used in every picture he took!! I love you Ryan. I am comforted knowing you are with your Lord and Savior whom you loved and served on this earth!

I, with a smile, remember Ryan as an active and enthusiastic little boy, as I watched him and his sister at times when their Mom was away from the house. Ryan and Melissa were childhood friends with my children. I am so happy to hear that Ryan found God, and lived much of his life helping others. I was very saddened to hear of his passing, and send my heartfelt condolences to Anne, Tom, Melissa, and the rest of his family and close friends. From Diane Priebe
