Roderick (Rick) Perry Grayson II, 54 of Lynnwood , WA. passed away after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure, on September 18, 2021 at Providence Medical Center.

He was born in Lorain, OH on December 14, 1966. He is survived by his parents Roderick and Gaynell Grayson; his 4 sons, Dreu and daughter-in-law Miriam, Ian and wife Nancy, Derrick, and Isaac Grayson; his 6 grandchildren, Genesis, Malachi, Shiloh, Isaiah, Maximilian, and Aria Grayson; and his sister Gayle Denise Johnson. He is predeceased by his brother Anthony Fitzgerald Grayson.

Rick spent most of his youth in Wiesbaden Germany and then in Spokane WA where he graduated from Ferris High School in 1985. He had a passion for music and spent most of his younger years as a DJ, which is what he was doing in Spokane when he met the love of his life Michele Patch. He was married to her from 1987-2011, and over the years had 4 sons who were the most important part of his life. He was a devoted father and Cub Scouts, baseball, football, bike riding, and art displays were all activities that he involved himself in so he could spend more time with his boys. From personal limousine rides to the airport, prom, or graduation, to custom made mixed tape songs at a baseball play-off game, Rick was in his element being their dad and did whatever he could to take care of his family. He was blessed to have 6 grandchildren and loved each one of them so much.

Throughout his working career, Rick enjoyed and excelled most at sales. He loved social interaction and his smile, laughter, and love for people will not soon be forgotten. He was a problem solver and dreamer in life – if he had an idea to do something, he always made known what it was and what he was going to do to make it happen. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and those that knew him.

In remembrance of Rick, a celebration of his life is scheduled at 1:00pm Saturday October 16, 2021 at Triway Grange Hall:
3509 Seattle Hill Rd. Mill Creek, WA 98012

Flowers and condolences may be sent to:
2131 N. 150th St. Shoreline, WA 98133
