Incredibly sad news... I hung out with Matt frequently towards the end of my senior year and went on an epic road trip with him from Colorado back to LA the summer after our graduation. I was hoping to see him again at the reunion. After I left for college, we drifted away from one another and he wasn't that active on social media so I hadn't spoken to him in many years, but I thought of him fondly from time to time and the antics we got into that memorable summer. I'll always remember the special times we shared together. Matt was a great guy; he was very funny, smart, sincere and full of joy for life. He had a great sense of humor and I always enjoyed being around him. My deepest condolences to his family. I'm sure he'll be terribly missed by all those who loved him. He was a very special person who touched many lives, including my own.
