John Aloysious Branigan passed away suddenly on March 24, 2025, at the age of 38. He was born in Philadelphia to the late John Branigan and the late Maryann Parsons. John is survived by his sister Heather and his brother Stan (Alysia). He also leaves behind his goddaughter Katie. The two shared a very special bond. John will be sadly missed by his nephews Alexander, Marc (Hannah), Landon, Quinn, Sebastian, his niece Bailey and Aunt Diane. Not to mention many aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was raised in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. John attended St. Laurentius Catholic school. He was a graduate of North Catholic High School class of 2004. John went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science degree Mathematics/ Chemistry from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Johnny spent many years in Hawaii before relocating to Seattle Washington.

Remember John for the kind, humble, loving and intellectual man that he was. In his honor do an act of kindness.

At this time the family has decided to handle everything privately. A future date will be announced for John to be buried with his parents at Palmer Cemetery in Philadelphia.
