Obituaries

I met Dean when I graduated from high school in PA and moved to Washington, DC to work. I must have been in the same church as his mother, and he would visit from Yale from time to time. At one time we drove across the country from DC to Seattle, where he had a job waiting. He was always interesting, always learning, always open to expanding his horizons -- all traits that I gleaned from him. I got to meet Mary when our paths crossed from time to time over the decades. It is very sad to learn of his death and an illness that came before it. I can't imagine Dean as anything but active and enjoying life. My thoughts go out to Mary, his children, and grandchildren.
