My old friend, and one of many mentor's in my early days in the food business, will be deeply missed. I had the great fortune to meet Dave in the early 70's when I was starting my career in the crazy business of food brokerage. He, Gordy, and the whole crew at Continental Food Sales, were not only business associates, but became great friends in process. Dave's keen sense of fair play and integrity in all his business dealings set the standard for many in our industry. I will miss his great sense of humor and that laugh! Dave & Joyce and my wife and myself had the great opportunity to be together at many industry functions and needless to say, those days hold a great deal of warm and fond memories, not only in our minds, but our hearts. David, you will be missed. To Don & Annie, and all the Lantz's Di & I send our deepest sympathies for your loss.

My parents were neighbors of the Lantz family when they lived on Princeton Avenue and the Lantz family is remembered by myself as what wonderful neighbors they were to my parents. Both Dave and Joyce were always so willing to help my parents as they grew older and Kirk (whom was very young) would come over and talk to my parents which they loved. Dave Lantz will be fondly remembered by the Curran family.
