Denise Ann De Sa, 59, of California & Nevada, passed away on October 11th, 2016 in Seattle, Washington.
A ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Monday April 10th, 2017 in Monterey, California. With her love of the ocean, a boat will be chartered in order to commemorate her.
Denise was born in Oakland, California to Manuel De Sa and Caroline Sousa on April 10th, 1957. With academic and athletic accomplishments, she graduated San Leandro High School. She found success in several career paths to include management at McDonald’s, Smith’s and Safeway. Her true dedication however was to her sons that she dearly loved. Whether it was help with schoolwork or cheering from the sidelines of a sports event; she ensured she was always there for them. Their joy and success in life has and will always be a direct result of her love and support.
Denise is preceded in death by her father Manuel, mother Caroline and brother Michael.
Denise is survived by her sons Brandon and Michael, her sister Theresa, daughter in law Nicole, and her grandchildren Shai, Destiny, Isaac and Akina.
Our family wishes to extend our sincere thank you to all those who have had the honor and privilege of being a family and friend to Denise. She found the best in all of us and had the ability to make those around her smile when they needed it the most. She will always be in our hearts and we know she is looking down on us from Heaven.
